Breakfast Morning at View Point Café St Helens 8th July 2026 Following a very good turnout for the “Drive it Day” tea stop, Vickie booked the break fast morning at this picturesque venue. Sadly, the Breakfast morning was very poorly supported with only 10 members attending over the morning arriving in fits and starts. Even more embarrassing was that extra staff had been engaged to cater for what was thought to be at least 20 people attending, not to mention the added food brought in by the proprietors. Your committee and more to the point Vickie Rasmussen who organises these mornings can only facilitate these events for members to enjoy with their cars. The large umbrellas over the tables and chairs gave ample shade with a cool breeze blowing in from the sea, together with very generous portions of breakfast, tea and coffees, with great service. It does beg the question whether we should continue these mornings in future when the numbers attending is not making them viable.
