Garlic Festival 16th & 17th Aug. 2025 The Garlic Festival held over two days must be one of the biggest shows on the Island, with three arenas with live music on the main stage, Agility dogs and The stunt cyclists. The showground was packed with people on both days. The VHVC Ltd, IoW American Club and Morris Minors had small numbers exhibiting on the Saturday, which was a shame as entry was free with the option to do a morning or afternoon slot. Sunday was warm and sunny all day with a cooling breeze, with more classics on show, mostly from VHVC. There were 15 in the afternoon with a few others having left at lunchtime. There was a lot of interest in the cars from the public and children, several were pleased to be invited to sit in the cars and have their photo’s taken by the parents. Good to see newest member Ben McMahon with his newly acquired MGB GT who seems particularly keen to attend events and runs when he can. Also The beautiful 2nd owner MGB GT V8 now in the owenership of the daughter in the Grant family. Good to see everyone staying until 5pm where the very helpful marshals escorted us to the exit.
