Festival of Transport Havenstreet 17th May 2026 One of the first shows of the season did not disappoint, arriving before the cutoff 9.45am entry time, we arrived to a very populated display field. Plenty of room though so not cramped at all. An eclectic mix of Classic cars represented by The Jaguar Club, Ford Club, VHVC and many other individuals. The weather was kind and no rain fell, the chilly breeze quite keen but bearable. The Sausage and Cyder event also at the far end had long queues all day. Entry for public was free and by mid-morning to late afternoon a steady flow of public showed interest in the cars and asked many members about them. The auto jumble proved popular with some good condition tools and spares. Lunch was either a homemade picnic or excellent food from the café proved popular. By 5pm the gates were open for the rush home. Staying on an extra half hour made for a more relaxing exit. So nice to be out and renewing old friendships from last year.
