VHVC at the IoW Jaguar Club Auto Fest Sunday 9th Aug On another blistering hot day around 30 or so VHVC members arrived at the new venue in the vast field opposite the IoW Steam Railway. The club had clearly worked very hard to arrange areas for visiting island Clubs, with many Jaguars from the mainland groups as well. The parched brown field gave witness to the hot dry summer experienced by us all. It was so hot it was difficult to take time to walk around all the Classic line ups. But clearly a very rough count would have been more than 200 cars. Jaguars being the predominant numbers. We were lucky to have Sandra and Adam Froment’s Gazebo to share which provided shade for us all day. Congratulations to Keith Parrish and his team for all the hard work done to create a successful show and hope that their Charity, the worthy Air Ambulance receives a good donation. Sandra Froment had the biggest smile of the day winning several prizes from the raffle.
