VHVC Social Run to Harts Farm 16th August 1.30pm at Carpetright Car Park saw only a dozen cars arrive for the run . At 2pm we made tracks for Harts Farm at Rookley, hosted by Robin Hibberd and Angie. We arrived to find the front patio area set out this year in lieu of the rear garden which had a steep slope and due to the parched grass would have been a slippery slope. Two groups set up one on the large patio the other under a nearby shading oak tree. The quiz was handed out and after a reasonable time answer were given to the occasional groan prize Winners were, Kevin and Karen Attwood with 11, 2nd Bev and Richard Charnley after a tie break with Gwyneth Bryerley . Many thanks to Robin for opening his wine cellar and 15th century farmhouse and gardens. In what is such a unique setting , so enjoyed by all who attended.
