Wednesday 20th August – BREAKFAST MORNING From 9.30am a few members arrived for breakfast at The Folly Inn, East Cowes. 19 members ordered their breakfast; I had Mixed Berries with Pancakes. That was delicious. A very reasonably priced full English breakfast for those who chose this: 1 egg fried or scrambled, 1 sausage, Black Pudding, 2 rashers of bacon, mushrooms, 2 hash browns, baked beans and toast all for £9.95. A short quiz was handed out. Winners of quiz – 1st ‘The Ferocious Five’ [Gwyneth, Tina, Peter, Bob and Stan] – 2nd. Peter Hodgson & Bill rasmussen– 3rd Lynne and Marcus Gilbert. Chris Batchelor thanked Vickie for organising the venue and quiz. Septembers Breakfast Morning will be at The Sportsman Rest on 10th Sept. at 10am
