Wight Pearl Classic Car Meet 26th July 2026 Member Chris Clark has organised this with Wight Pearl for 3 years now and has become as popular as ever. 60 cars attended at various times during 10am and 3.30pm. The management were very welcoming to the car owners, offering a free coffee to all who arrived with a car. Drizzling as I made my way from Lake, which soon turned into a warm if not hot day, but with a cooling stiff breeze. Most were members of IoW Classic Car clubs, with a few cars not seen before. Plaza ices with Gary did a steady trade with ice creams. Karen Attwood praised the breakfast she enjoyed at the café, which Bill Rasmussen and I echoed having the lite bite fish and chips which could not be faulted. All in all, a very relaxing day full of chat and an eclectic mix of cars. Thanks must go to Chris Clark for arranging this venue which has now become a firm favourite. Peter Hodgson.
